I was privileged enough to be a member of the Semiconductor team at Senior. The Semi team was a fast paced team that covered a lot of ground. As a result, I was exposed to countless opportunities I would not have gotten elsewhere. This role required lots of communication between team members and departments, so the instant transmission of valid and useful information was paramount. During my time, I worked with clients to better understand their manufacturing needs to determine how to improve our internal processes to achieve that. I was able to gain experience in design iteration and testing which was challenging but, in the end, very gratifying. I also proposed business cases to upper management in order to receive large amounts of funding for Capital Equipment necessary to our manufacturing process. The most valuable thing I received from this opportunity was to work with some of the brightest and kindest individuals I have met in the professional world.

While working at Insulet I was responsible for two cells in an autonomous manufacturing line. I was privileged enough to work on cutting-edge automated manufacturing, learning the in's and out's and pitfalls of automated processes. There was a steep learning curve to this job, as it was my first internship and the technology was rather advanced. Despite that, made it a personal mission to understand everything that was taking place in my Cell's and to put pride aside and seek help from others. I was lucky enough to work under some very gifted people with remarkable mechanical insights. My responsibilities included Test Method Validation, continuous improvement efforts, scrap reduction, and emergency repair scenarios. This internship awakened a fascination for automation that sticks with me to this day.
